Patricia Frances Burk

Patricia Frances Burk was born in Hiawatha, Kansas, on May 5, 1924, the daughter of Elbert and Ethel (Ford) McCracken and departed this life March 21, 2013, at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 88 years, 10 months, and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Herbert Jennings Burk on October 11, 1941, at Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. Pat enjoyed her time spent as a homemaker and farmer and was a member of the Camp United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Judy Laster and husband Hugh of Sherwood, Arkansas, Kathy Clark and husband Jasper of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Rhonda Martinez and husband Robert of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two sons, Larry Burk and wife Joyce of Gassville, Arkansas, and Terry Burk and wife Debbie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one son-in-law, Robert Gordils of Montgomery, Texas; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Herbert, daughter Bonita Gordils, parents, and brother Ford McCracken. Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2013, with R.L. Custer and Rev. J.R. McElhannon officiating. Interment will be held in the Camp Cemetery, Camp, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 1:00 PM til service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers are Ron Burk, T.J. Burk, Joe Burk, Steve Burk, Chris Clark and Joey Burk. Honorary pallbearers are Jackie Burk, Kevin Burk, Rodney Burk and Adam Burk. Memorials preferred to Camp Methodist Church or Hospice House.
