Harold Dewayne Shoemate

Harold Dewayne Shoemate was born in Elizabeth, Arkansas, on October 30, 1937, son of William Rufus and Eulah Margaret (Owens) Shoemate. He departed this life on April 7, 2013, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 75 years, 5 months , and 8 days. Harold was self employed as a heat & air installer and hunting was his passion. He was of the Church of Christ faith. Harold is survived by one daughter Cathy Campbell (Andy) of Farmington, Arkansas, and one son Guy Shoemate of Campbell, Missouri; two grandchildren, Johnna Shoemate and Haley Campbell; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents, and three brothers, Onus, Dale, and Duane. Funeral services will be held in Barker Funeral Home Chapel, Salem, Arkansas, at 12:00 PM, Friday, April 12, 2013, with Bro. Mike Yates officiating. Interment will be held in Elizabeth Cemetery, Elizabeth, Arkansas. Visitation will be held Friday, April 12, 10:00 AM until time of service at Barker Funeral Home Chapel.
