Charles Lee Courtwright

Charles Lee Courtwright of Ash Flat, Arkansas, was born in Day, Arkansas, on May 11, 1929, son of Phillip Andrew and Rebecca Frances (Hall) Courtwright. He departed this life June 4, 2013, at White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas, at the age of 84 years and 24 days. Charles was in the grocery business as a produce manager for twenty-five years. He was also a machinist for twenty years and was of the Baptist faith. Charles is survived by a daughter, Cathy Ann Murry of Chreno, Texas, and one son, Joel Courtwright of Angleton, Texas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents; two brothers, Bill and Ewell and one sister, Velma. Graveside services will be held at Humphries Cemetery, Glencoe, Arkansas, at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 7, 2013, with John Dobson officiating. Services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
