Harvey Lee Taylor

Harvey Lee Taylor was born in Elizabeth, Arkansas, on November 19, 1944, son of John Henry and Ruby Germaine (Welch) Taylor. He departed this life at his home in Elizabeth, Arkansas, on June 24, 2013, at the age of 68 years, 7 months and 5 days. Harvey was united in marriage to Carol Elizabeth Rantz on January 17, 1970, at Mitchell, Arkansas. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and was of the Baptist faith. Harvey is survived by his wife, Carol Taylor of Elizabeth, Arkansas; two daughters, Lisa Ann Barger (Nick) of Ward, Arkansas, and Mary Germaine Walker (Rodney) of Elizabeth, Arkansas; two sons Harvey John Taylor (Kristy) of Elizabeth, Arkansas, and Dennis Ray Taylor (Theresa) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Alex, William, Rebbecca, Marcus, Justin and Matthew; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and David; one niece, Genette Bishop (Harold); one great niece, Julie James; one great nephew, John Jeffery Bishop; one great-great nephew, Rowan James; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Sheila Beth Taylor and Rita Laymon. Graveside services will be held in Flora Cemetery at Viola, Arkansas, on Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at 10:00 AM with Bro. Clayton Thomas officiating. Pallbearers will be Orville Crotts, Robert Wray, Neal Campbell, Tommy Everett, James McGlothin and Steve Hutson.
