Jean Hamblen Mathews

Jean Hamblen Mathews was born in Gorham, Maine, on July 19, 1944, the daughter of James Hamblen and Madeline Crockett (Coffey) Pillsbury. She departed this life on July 21, 2013, at her residence in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, at the age of 69 years and 2 days. Jean was united in marriage to James Noel Mathews on June 11, 1965, in Gorham, Maine. She was a homemaker. Jean leaves to mourn her passing, husband, James of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; two sons, James Alan Mathews, and wife, Lori, and Michael Scott Mathews, all of Omaha, Nebraska; and one brother, James William Pillsbury of Sebago Lake, Maine. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements by Barker Horseshoe Bend Memorial Chapel, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
