Thelassa (Lacey) Shania Wright

Thelassa (Lacey) Shania Wright was born in Denver, Colorado, on December 9, 1995, daughter of Kathy Lynn (Staggs) Quick and Stacy Charles Wright. She departed this life on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 17 years, 7 months, and 25 days. Lacey was active in 4H in county, district and state and had won numerous Grand and Reserve Championships at each level. She was planning on going to the Nationals next summer and was in the process of establishing a show team for Fulton County. Lacey had a grand passion for animals and wanted to attend college to become a Veterinarian after graduating from high school next year. Lacey is survived by her parents, Stacy Wright and Kathy Quick of Camp, Arkansas; three sisters, Adriel Coffman of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Brandie Wright and Chyenne Wright, both of Camp, Arkansas; paternal grandparents, Roger and Aleta Schulz of Eaton, Colorado; maternal grandmother, Pamela Staggs of Spring Hill, Florida; paternal great grandmother, Tillie Schulz of Ault, Colorado; her boyfriend, Hunter Delargy and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Roy Staggs. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 2:00 PM in the Barker Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Alan Winberry officiating. Services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to the Fulton County 4H or Lacey Wright Memorial Fund at the Bank of Salem.
