Evelyn Virginia Kelly

Evelyn Virginia Kelly was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, on October 9, 1939, a daughter of Marion and Sylvia (Booth) Stevens. She departed this life on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at her residence in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 73 years, 9 months, and 30 days. Evelyn Stevens was united in marriage to Louie Edward Kelly on October 7, 1955, at Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. She spent her working years in food service as a waitress. Evelyn is survived by one daughter, Patricia Ann Meyers, of Chicago, Illinois; two granddaughters, Theresa Evelyn Holich (Wesley Bensinger) of Salem, Arkansas, and Wendy Brogdon of McHenry, Illinois; five great grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Alyssa, Zachary and Madison; one sister, Shirley Fortunato, of Stabane, Pennsylvania; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Kelly; one son, Louie Kelly Jr.; her parents; and fifteen brothers and sisters. Memorials preferred to American Diabetes Association.
