John Allen Young

John Allen Young was born in Overland Park, Kansas, on November 4, 1955, son of Billy Dale and Audry Lou (Fore) Young. He departed this life Monday, August 19, 2013, at his residence in Rogers, Arkansas, at the age of 57 years, 9 months, and 15 days. John was united in marraige to Mary Anne Rockwell on May 7, 1990, at Boulder, Colorado. He was employed as a Master Electrician in the construction industry and was self employed. John was a member of the Assembly of God in Bella Vista, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne Young of Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters, Tonja Marie Rogers and Suzi Lyne Price, both of Springdale, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Elenah Tucker of Tucson, Arizona; his parents, Billy and Audry Young of Gepp, Arkansas; one sister, Carol Ann Dowling-Glover of Olathe, Kansas; one brother, Joe Dale Young of Cleveland, Ohio; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Joshua Harrison Tucker. Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 22, 2013 with Bro. Harold Cotter officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fore Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri, with services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to American Diabetes Association.
