Vernal Emalion Huett

Vernal Emalion Huett was born in Henderson, Arkansas, on March 23, 1921, daughter of Charlie Alton and Gladys Cless (Shrable) Copeland. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 92 years, 5 months, and 19 days. Vernal was united in marriage to Clovis Woodrow Huett on October 9, 1937, in Salem, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Salem Church of Christ. Vernal is survived by one daughter, Virginia Huett of Salem, Arkansas; one niece, Darlene Johnson; one great niece, Stacy and one great nephew, Larry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis; her parents, Charlie and Gladys Copeland and one brother, James Copeland. Funeral services will be held at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 13, 2013, with Bro. Mike Yates officiating. Interment will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
