Lynn Truman Young

Lynn Truman Young was born in Bennet, Nebraska, on June 25, 1928, son of Glenn David Young Sr. and Thelma Ida (Ross) Young. He departed this life Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Eaglecrest Nursing & Rehab Center in Ash Flat, Arkansas, at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 27 days. Lynn was an engineer for Boeing Aircraft for many years. He was a member of Horseshoe Bend First Baptist Church in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Lynn is survived by one brother, Glenn David Young Jr. and wife Julie of Wichita, Kansas; one sister-in-law Violet Young of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Carlyle Young; his parents; and two brothers Marvin and Wayne Young. Memorial services will be held at a later date with arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to Horseshoe Bend First Baptist Church.
