Susan Marie Martin

Susan Marie Martin was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 20, 1953, daughter of Jimmie and Carl Wellborn. She departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2013, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 60 years and 29 days. Susan was united in marriage to Rayford Martin on May 15, 1981, at Salem, Arkansas. She was employed as a Respiratory Therapist for White River Medical Center for several years. Susan was a member of Agnos Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband Rayford Martin of the home in Glencoe, Arkansas; two sons, Robby Martin and wife Becky of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and Brian Martin and wife Alicia of Republic, Missouri; five grandsons, Chase, Brody, Zach and Bryce Martin and Matthew Price; mother, Jimmie Wellborn, four brothers, Johnson, Roger, Carl and David Wellborn; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Wellborn. Graveside services will be held at Humphries Cemetery in Glencoe, Arkansas, at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 22, 2013, with Dale Godwin officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Larry Humphries, Jason Martin, Joe Young, Steve Statler, Chase Martin, Carol Manry and Matthew Price. Memorials preferred to Humphries Cemetery Association.
