Mitchell Hall

September 30, 1936 — February 4, 2014

Mitchell Hall was born in Custer, Arkansas, on September 30, 1936, the son of Tom and Ida (Arnett) Hall. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Southfork River Therapy and Living Center in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 5 days. Mitchell was united in marraige to Donna Willadean Hensley on October 29, 1969, at Pottersville, Missouri. He was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many years. Mr. Hall was a member of Viola Church of Christ. Mitchell is survived by one daughter Jennifer Smith and husband Allen of Viola, Arkansas; two sons, Jerry Riley and wife Connie of West Plains, Missouri, and Jim Riley and wife Patricia of Viola, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Michaela and Michael Smith, and Cassie Short and husband Jake; one great granddaughter, Lila Short; one sister Marcille Davidson and husband R.C. of Bakersfield, Missouri; one brother Marlin Hall and wife Pat of Mountain Home, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one brother Wilburn Hall. Funeral services will be at Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 8, 2014, with Bro. Don Pfalser officiating. Interment will be in the Mitchell Cemetery in Mitchell, Arkansas, with services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church. Pallbearers are Ken Cotter, Lynn Luther, Kevin Browning, Wayne Winter, Harold Cotter, Norman Montgomery, Justin Luther, Phillip Cotter, Mike Sherman and Rick Harber. Memorials preferred to Viola Church of Christ.
