James Daniel "Danny" Ford

James Daniel "Danny" Ford was born in St. Charles, Missouri, on January 20, 1959, son of Tilmon H Ford Sr and Iva Elizabeth (Mcintire) Ford. He departed this life Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 55 years, 2 months and 6 days. Danny was united in marriage to Jana Rene` Ledgerwood on November 30, 2002, at Norfork, Arkansas. He was a self made and employed carpenter by trade and a member of the Viola First Baptist Church. Danny is survived by his wife Jana of Viola, Arkansas; three daughters, Mindy Ford of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, Kandi Burton (Carl) of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, and Misty Rankin (James) of Delphi, Indiana; two sons Robby Daniel Ford (Heather) of Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Derek Ford of Ash Flat, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; four sisters, Ann Ballard (Buddy) of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Alice Rowe (Rodney) of Eddyville, Kentucky, Betty Hughes (Alan) of Danville, Indiana, and Sharon Whitaker (Keith) of Brownsburg, Indiana; four brothers, Tilmon Ford Jr (Bonnie) of Russellville, Indiana, Ernie Ford (Veta) of Cave City, Arkansas, Bo Ford (Elva) of Ash Flat, Arkansas, and William Ford (Hilda) of Immokalee, Florida; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Larry and Teddy Ford. Funeral services will be held in the Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas, at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 31, 2014, with Bro. Larry Ring and Bro. David Wiley officiating. Burial will be in the Flora Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas, with services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Viola First Baptist Church. Pallbearers are Jeff Stone, Kenneth Sanders, Bill Crow, Greg Williams, Larry Duncan and John May. Honorary pallbearers are the Senior Adult 1 Class.  Memorials preferred to John 3:16 Ministries.
