Elsie Emaline Moore

Elsie Emaline Moore was born in Allen, Nebraska, on April 14, 1926, daughter of Rufus Joshua and Leona Nell (Isom) Moore. She departed this life on May 31, 2014, at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 17 days. Elsie was married to Earl Cleo Moore on December 24, 1945, at Salem, Arkansas, and to this union four children were born. She spent her working years as a LPN, spending 30 of those years with the Fulton County Hospital. Elsie was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter Darlus Navarrette of Los Lunas, New Mexico, sister Irma Robinette of Raytown, Missouri; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Carolyn and Sharen, one son, Gary; parents; two sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, 2:00 PM at Barker Funeral Home with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be Monday 6-8 PM at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Rhodes Cemetery in Glencoe, Arkansas, with arrangements under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Hospital Volunteers in Salem, Arkansas.
