Laura Jean Duncan

Laura Jean Duncan was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 8, 1979, daughter of Larry and Linda (Martin) Duncan. She departed this life on June 7, 2014, at her residence in Viola, Arkansas, at the age of 34 years, 6 month and 30 days. She was a member of Viola First Baptist Church. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Linda Duncan of Viola, Arkansas; brother, Jeremy Duncan and wife Carla of Gepp, Arkansas; two nieces, Cory and Kira Duncan of Gepp, Arkansas; grandmother, Nonny Martin of Dowdy, Arkansas, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather H.B. Martin and paternal grandparents Clyde and Villie Duncan. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas, with Bro. Larry Ring and Bro. Robbie Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at the church with services under direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem. Interment will be at 4:00 PM in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in Dowdy, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Gerald Duncan, Wayne Duncan, Tom Duncan, Lanny Duncan, and “Cousins”. Memorials may be made to John 3:16 Ministries.
