Donna Cheryl Ward

Donna Cheryl (Hutcheson) Ward was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, on March 11, 1944, daughter of Walter Eugene and Dortha Cleo (White) Hutcheson. She departed this life Friday, July 18, 2014, at her home in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, at the age of 70 years, 4 months and 7 days. Donna was united in marriage to Billy Eugene Ward on May 13, 1968, in Blytheville, Arkansas. She was a master gardener growing both vegetables and a variety of flowers. Donna loved crafting and was an expert seamstress. She was a loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Donna is survived by two sons, Bryce Ward and wife Barbara of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, and Gary Ward of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Dan, Jamie, Jordan, Scott and Shane; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Zella Tracewell, Betty Parham and Barbara Rogers; two brothers, Harold and Bill Hutcheson; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy, her parents; and one sister, Wilma Walker. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials preferred to Legacy Hospice.
