Rosa Lee "Rosie" Carr was born in Braymer, Missouri, on January 2, 1948, daughter of Howard and Dorothy (McBee) Mallory. She departed this life Thursday, September 25, 2014, at her home in Sturkie, Arkansas, at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 23 days. Rosie Mallory was united in marriage to Tommy Cliff Carr on June 10, 1967, in Braymer, Missouri. She was a Rodeo Grandma and enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in Rodeos and in showing of livestock. Rosie was a member of Union Baptist Church in Stet, Missouri. She is survived by her husband, Tommy of the home in Sturkie, Arkansas; daughter, Tonya Sloan and husband, Scott of Cameron, Missouri; two sons, David Carr and wife, Susan of Gepp, Arkansas, and Dusty Carr and wife, Brooke of Imboden, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Cody (Ashleigh) , Troy (Bailey), Hunter, Kaylee, Brandon, Madelyn and Allie; great granddaughter, Aubree; her mother, Dorothy Mallory of Braymer, Missouri; brother, Norman Mallory and wife, Dorothy of Braymer, Missouri; many other realtives and friends. She was prceded in death by her father, Howard Mallory. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 28, 2014, 2 PM at Barker Funeral Home Chapel in Salem, Arkansas, with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time at the funeral home. Memorials preferred to Arkansas Children's Hospital. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
