Harold Ray Crosland

Harold Ray Crosland was born in Moro, Arkansas, October 9, 1934, son of James Milo and Mary Minerva (Rogers) Crosland. He departed this life in Salem, Arkansas, May 18, 2015, at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 9 days. Harold was united in marriage to Callie Jean Morgan on May 15, 1955, in Clarendon, Arkansas. He spent his working years as a farmer and was a loving husband, father, and grandpa. Harold is survived by his wife, Callie Crosland of Salem, Arkansas; two sons, Harold Wayne Crosland of Salem, Arkansas, and Dale Lyn Crosland of Pocahontas, Arkansas; five daughters, Peggy Catlett (Johnny) of Bentonia, Mississippi, Margaret Burrus of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Kay Baxter of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Connie Sommerfield (Terry) of Salem, Arkansas, and Mary Jane Lloyd of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; one sister, Rosie Burke of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and many brothers and sisters. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2015, 2:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas, with burial to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
