Robert Hall Raines

Robert Hall Raines was born in Auville, Missouri, on October 2, 1928, son of Lessie James and Mildred Audrey (White) Raines. He departed this life Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at his home in Camp, Arkansas, at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 2 days. Robert was united in marriage to Frankie Elizabeth Hilburn January 20, 1964, at Miami, Oklahoma. He served his Country as a SGT with the US Army during the Korean War. Robert was a bus driver for the Salem Public School System. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert is survived by his wife Frankie; one daughter, Middie Raines of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; three sons, Rick Raines of Salem, Arkansas, Curtis Raines and wife Angela, and Carl Raines, of Camp, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Jean Andrews of Olathe, Kansas, and Eunice Ellen Shope of Kansas City, Missouri; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Dorothy Jenkins; a brother, James Curtis Raines and grandson, Robert Ray Raines. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem.
