Argie (Estes) Lapio

Argie (Estes) Lapio was born in Saddle, Arkansas, on August 9, 1923, daughter of William Remmel and Gertie Mae (Hackworth) Estes. She departed this life January 23, 2016, at Crown Point Health and Rehabilitation Center in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, at the age of 92 years. Argie was employed by South Western Bell Telephone Company in St. Louis, Missouri, for many years. She was a member of the Salem Church of Christ. Argie will be missed by those who knew and truly loved her. She is survived by one son, Michael Lapio (Melissa) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Alia and Jordan Lapio; two brothers, Jim Estes of Rock Falls, Illinois, and Harrel Estes of Salem, Arkansas; four nieces; four nephews; other relatives and many friends. Argie was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters. Arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
