Christopher Allen Raye Simmons

Christopher Allen Raye Simmons was born November 12, 1986, at Gallatin, Tennessee, to John Michael "Mike" Richardson and Susan Ann Perrigo. He departed this life Saturday, April 16, 2016, at Salem, Arkansas, at the age of 29 years, 5 months and 4 days. After graduating from high school, Christopher went to work as a tower technician. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Union, Arkansas. Christopher was a loving dad, son, and brother. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Christopher is survived by one daughter, Gretchen Cherry; his parents, Suzi Baskett of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, Mike Richardson (Shirley) of Franklin, Arkansas, and Steven Baskett of Gamaliel, Kentucky; a sister, Brittney Richardson of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee; four brothers, Joshua Perrigo (Tinekia) of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, Jeremy Richardson (Jessica) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, Jason Rush (Lisa) of Melbourne, Arkansas, and Mike Rush (Derrellyn) of Brockwell, Arkansas; special friend, Alisha Cherry of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; three nieces; one nephew; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Samuel Raye Joice Simmons; his maternal and paternal grandparents. The family will have a family gathering with friends Tuesday, April 19, 2016, 5:00 PM at the Turkey Mountain Clubhouse in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
