Curtis Leon Smith

Curtis Leon Smith was born in Durant, Oklahoma on March 17, 1941, son of Jake and Emily Elizabeth (Marshall) Smith. He departed this life on May 23, 2016, at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 6 days. Curtis worked as a heavy equipment operator. He is survived by a brother, Jonas Smith of Pontiac, Missouri; a sister, Mary White of Theodosia, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Albert Smith, Harvey Smith and Charlie Smith; and a sister, Betty Smith. Graveside visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 10:00 AM at Elijah Cemetery in Elijah, Missouri. Memorials may be made to the Elijah Cemetery Association, C/O Donald Joyce, 11069 St. Rt. MM, Pottersville, Mo.65790. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
