Ricky Eugene Turner

Ricky Eugene Turner was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on July 25, 1956, son of William Edward and Inez Marie (Warner) Turner. He departed this life at his home in Viola, Arkansas, on Friday, June 24, 2016, at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 30 days. Ricky served his Country with the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a plumber for many years. Ricky was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Ricky is survived by special friend, Frankie Horne of the home in Viola, Arkansas; sister, Juli Turner of Dallas, Texas; two brothers, Jerry Wayne Turner of Dallas, Texas, and Larry Edward Turner of Jonesboro, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at a later date with arrangements entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name preferred to Walnut Street Baptist Church, 1910 Scenic Road, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
