John Eugene Wolf

John Eugene Wolf was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas on March 25, 1926, son of James Edwin and Verga Pearl (Tracy) Wolf. He departed this life on July 22, 2016, at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 27 days. John married Ruth Delaphine Pendergrass on January 27, 1951 at Salem, Arkansas. He spent his working years as an electrical lineman for IBEW Local #309. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son and brother. He is survived by his son, John David Wolf (Linda) of Granite City, Illinois; 2 daughters, Marcia Sedabres (Thomas Janek) of Granite City, Illinois and Virginia Ladd (James) of Granite City, Illinois; brother, Robert Charles Wolf of Oronogo, Missouri; sister, Louise Welch of Salem, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Jason Sparks (Maria), Courtney Sedabres, Sarah Ladd and David Jacob Wolf (Amanda); 3 great grandchildren, Linsey Sparks, Regan Sparks and Chloe Wolf; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brother (James Wolf). Funeral services will be Friday, July 29, 2016, 11:00 AM, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be Friday at 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Salem Cemetery, Salem, Arkansas under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
