Jerry Lee Smith

Jerry Lee Smith, 59, of Camp, Arkansas, was born on October 25, 1956, in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, son of Lloyd Woldan and Freda Faye (Ward) Smith. He departed this life on August 11, 2016 at Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. Jerry married Mary Della Sutherland on February 16, 1978 at Salem, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Jerry spent his working years as a grader operator for the Fulton County Road Department and attended the Camp Methodist Church in Camp, Arkansas. Jerry was a good husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He lived his life for his family and was a very kind hearted, generous and giving person. He leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Mary Smith of Camp, Arkansas; son, Jamie Smith (Mandy) of Camp, Arkansas; daughter, Samantha Terry of Salem, Arkansas; 2 brothers, Larry Smith (Joyce) of Bakersfield, Missouri, Danny Smith (Paula) of Flippin, Arkansas; sister, Debra Baker (Dennis) of Mountain Home, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Colton Smith, Chesny Smith, Tyde Terry and Bristol Terry; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Lenora Smith). Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016, 2:00 PM, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, August 14, 2016, 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Camp Cemetery in Camp, Arkansas, under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Terry Sutherland, Kelly Sutherland, Bradley Warden, Rollin Warden, Jett Smith and Donnie Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Jason Sutherland, Richard Frazier, Ricky Frazier, Dale Ivey, Paul Hickinbotham, Brody Smith, Larry Smith, Danny Smith, Heath Gaines and the Fulton County Road Department.
