Alice Fay Sayers

Alice Fay Sayers, 64, of Salem, Arkansas, departed this life on July 30, 2022, in Salem, Arkansas. Alice was born to William Fred Tate and Mary Laverne (Boggess) Tate on February 22, 1958, in Granite City, Illinois.

Alice worked at various jobs but was mainly a homemaker.  Alice loved her family and spending time with all her children and grandchildren.  She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Alice leaves to mourn her passing, two daughters, Faith Johnson (John) of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas and Alicia Wallace of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Ruby Tanner (Gary) of Nixa, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jonathan Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Zoe Johnson, Tierney Sparkman, Nickole Guernsey, and Andrew Wallace; seven great grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Rylyn Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Wesson Johnson, William Johnson, Arabella Johnson, and Ellianna Ethridge; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband (Bill Sparkman), and many brothers and sisters.

The family will have memorial services later. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
