Amber Lane Richardson

Amber Lane Richardson, 42, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, January 21, 2021.  Amber was born October 19, 1978 to Verlin Gaston Richardson and Sue Ann (Schuler) Richardson in Calico Rock, Arkansas.

Amber was a substitute teacher at Viola Schools in Viola, Arkansas.  She was an outstanding cook and loved to feed her family and friends.  She was fiercely loyal to her friends and loved her family and friends, especially her children and parents.  The proudest moments of her life were the birth of her children.  Some of her fondest childhood memories were Christmases with all her family and fun times with her friends.  Amber was a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, friend and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Amber leaves to mourn her passing, son, Caleb MacLeod of Elizabeth, Arkansas; daughter, Meredith Deane of Elizabeth, Arkansas; parents, Gaston and Sue Richardson of Elizabeth, Arkansas; sister, Tina Talburt and husband Steve of Gamaliel, Arkansas; two brothers, Dennis Richardson and wife Becky of Elizabeth, Arkansas and Mike Richardson and wife Sherry of Elizabeth, Arkansas; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Amber is preceded in death by her grandparents, Kerry and Gratice Richardson, Viola Schuler, and Paul Schuler.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, January 29, 2021, 12:00 PM at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro David Gibson and Larry Ivens officiating.  Honorary pallbearers are Adam Talburt, Matt Richardson, Dane Richardson, Mathew King, Mitchell Stevens, Brodey St. Clair and Colton Huber.  Memorials may be made to John 3:16 Ministries, 75 Holmes Road, Charlotte, Arkansas (https://tithe.ly/give_new/www/#/tithely/give-one-time/1371554).  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. 

Please be mindful of our social distancing guidelines. We will have hand sanitizing stations set up at all entrances and exits and with the register book. Signs will be posted as well.
