Anita Jo Lucy

Anita Jo (Moudy) Lucy, 50, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 in Eureka, Kansas. Anita was born to the late Vance Crystal Moudy and Jo Ann (Durfee) Moudy on December 21, 1968 in Beebe, Arkansas.

Anita was united in marriage to David Wayne Lucy, Jr. on May 5, 2017 in Searcy, Arkansas. Anita worked as an LPN and was of the Baptist faith. Anita was a very attentive, smart, loving lady with a big heart. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  

Anita leaves to mourn her passing; husband, David Lucy, Jr. of Salem, Arkansas; four sons, Tim Spivy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joseph Spivy of Conway, Arkansas, Zachary Spivy of Conway, Arkansas and Joshua Moudy  (Jennifer) of Searcy, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Logan Spivy, Alana, Levi Moudy, McKenzie Moudy, Sir Spivy, Settie Spivy and Sarabelle Spivy; step father, Roy Martin of Kensett, Arkansas; three brothers, Vance Moudy (Christina) of Searcy, Arkansas, Anthony Martin of Conway, Arkansas and Dennis Martin (Anna) Of Searcy, Arkansas; five sisters, Dorothy Quinn (Wayne) of Bald Knob, Arkansas, LaHonda Moudy of Kensett, Arkansas, Kimberly May of Sumter, South Carolina, Kayonna May of Peoria, Illinois and Mindy Lawson (Buddy) of Peoria, Illinois; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister (Patricia Moudy).

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at West Point Cemetery in West Point, Arkansas with Bro. Mark Ferran officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
