Bennie Wade Crouch

Bennie Wade Crouch, 74, of Salem, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Salem, Arkansas. He was born to the late Bennie Hugo Crouch and Georgia Elizabeth (Adams) Crouch on February 1, 1945 in Wiseman, Arkansas.                  

Bennie was united in marriage to Wilma Jean Hall on June 10, 1965 in Sturkie, Arkansas and to this union three children were born. Bennie drove a truck for many years, including AMPI, CK LaFevers Construction and Guy King Ready Mix. Bennie also enjoyed raising cattle, working on his farm and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend.

Bennie leaves to mourn his passing; wife, Wilma Crouch of Salem, Arkansas; son, Randy Crouch and wife Heather of Wiseman, Arkansas; two daughters, Melissa Ray of Salem, Arkansas and Stephanie Crouch of Salem, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Beth Shannon and husband Tim of Salem, Arkansas, Dustin Ray and wife Callen of Salem, Arkansas, Clint Ray and wife Hannah of Ash Flat, Arkansas and Lane Ray of Salem, Arkansas; six great grandchildren, Lilly Shannon, Amaya Shannon, Kutler Shannon, Lyrik Shannon, Baylor Ray and Haisley Ray; brother-in-law, Hayden Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, son-in-law (Doug Ray) and sister (Louise Wiseman).

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Wiseman Cemetery in Wiseman, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Dustin Ray, Clint Ray, Lane Ray, Scott Henslee, Roger Hall and Charles Aldridge. Memorials may be made to the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
