Betty June Gilbert

Betty June (Lansford) Gilbert, 79, Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas was born June 14, 1937, daughter of Johnny Eugene and Gladys (Edgars) Lansford in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She departed this life on April 26, 2017 in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.   June was married to Willie Elden Gilbert on June 14, 1953 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. They lived in Craighead County until 2000 when they bought a home in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend and was a member of the Living Church of God.   June is survived by one daughter, Judy Gilbert of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; one sister, JoAnn Crocker Creemeans of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Heather Joan Millsat, Johnny Elven Schales, Loni June Norwood, and Codi Desirae Elizabeth Schales; fourteen great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother (Bill Lansford) and grandson (Kegen Chase Schales).   No services have been scheduled at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
