Betty Louise Wiseman

Betty Louise (Crouch) Wiseman, age 84, departed this life on Thursday, September 27, 2018 in Wiseman, Arkansas. She was born to the late Bennie Hugo Crouch and Georgia Elizabeth (Adams) Crouch on July 18, 1934 in Wiseman, Arkansas.

Louise was united in marriage to Robert Hayden Wiseman on April 9, 1953 in Salem, Arkansas and to this union four children were born. Louise spent her working years as a ward clerk at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas and also worked for the Tri County Shirt Company in Salem, Arkansas. Louise was treasurer of the Wiseman Cemetery Association and a member of SNAPPS (post-polio syndrome support group in Jonesboro, Arkansas). She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church.

She leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Hayden Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas; son, Lindel Wiseman and wife Jody of Wiseman, Arkansas; three daughters, Marsha Wiseman of Wiseman, Arkansas, Sherry Wiseman Corbishley of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Cheryl Ekenes of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Brian Wiseman, Brad Wiseman and wife Lindsey, Stacy Barber and husband Jesse, Lee Corbishley and Hayden Ekenes; three great grandchildren, Caden Wiseman, Maggie Wiseman and Barrett Wiseman; brother, Bennie Wade Crouch and wife Wilma of Wiseman, Arkansas and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Georgia Crouch.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Wiseman Cemetery in Wiseman, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Brian Wiseman, Brad Wiseman, Lindsey Wiseman, Stacy Barber, Jesse Barber, Lee Corbishley and Hayden Ekenes. Memorials may be made to the Wiseman Cemetery Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
