Bobby Wayne Mills, 69, better known as bub, Pa, or Pops, passed from this life while surrounded by family, at his home in Viola on Thursday, March 14, 2024. Bob was born to Robert Eldon Mills and Mary Faith (Williams) Mills on August 8, 1954, in Salem, Arkansas.
Bob leaves to mourn his passing, wife and soul mate, Marvene Mills of Viola, Arkansas; son, Morgan Mills (Cheyenne) of Mountain View, Arkansas; four daughters, Justine Carter (Jimmy) of Mountain View, Arkansas, Kristin Ellis of Viola, Arkansas, Kellyn Smoot of Viola, Arkansas, and Kyla Robbins (Jordan) of Folsom, California; mother, Mary Faith Harmon of Golden, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Ryan (Lexie), Emily, Landon, Kimber, Kyler, Korbyn, Kella, J.J., Oliver, Nora, and Esther; brother, Jerry Mills of Alamogordo, New Mexico; three sisters, Carol Williams (David) of Golden, Missouri, Sharon Buerkle (Burk) of Maumelle, Arkansas, and Teresa Mills of Springdale, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son (Jordan Wayne Mills), father (Robert Eldon Mills), and granddaughter (Brooklyn Mills).
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, March 18, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Monday, March 18, 2024, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. The interment will be in the Flora Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan, Emily, Landon, Kimber, Kyler, Korbyn, Kella, J.J., Oliver, Nora, Esther, David Williams, Burk Buerkle, Jeff Burch, Tracy Dunn, Mike Batterton, and Jason Willett. Memorials may be made to the UAMS Myeloma Research Center or Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
