Bobby Dean Weaver

Bobby Dean Weaver, 69, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away on December 8, 2023, in Salem, Arkansas. Bobby was born March 9, 1954, in Corcoran, California to Odis Everett Weaver and Oma Lois (Phelps) Weaver. 
 
Bobby spent his working years as a truck driver and doing construction work for Blevins Construction. He loved his family and friends, pond fishing, and cooking/grilling. He loved watching sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks, New York Yankees, and Los Angeles Lakers. He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, friend, and was of Christian faith. 
 
Bobby is survived by his son, Matt Minks and wife Kaley of Wallis, Texas; daughter, Rachel Cooper and husband Cole of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren, Dylan, Luke, and Haven; sister, Marilyn Gail Bledsoe of Salem, Arkansas; his dog Mimi; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother (Norman Weaver), sister (Joyce Ann Weaver), grandparents (Farce and Annie Phelps), many cousins and friends.  
 
Memorial services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials may be made to the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
