Brenda Sue Hess

Brenda Sue Hess, 68, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, January 14, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas.  Brenda was born March 5, 1952 to Virgil Heath and Mildred (Elrod) Heath in Sylacauga, Alabama.

Brenda was married to Mike Hess on October 14, 1995 in San Diego, California.  Brenda spent her working years as a casino manager.  Brenda loved quilting and helping people.  Brenda was very active in helping put on benefits for others in need.  Brenda was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, friend and was of the Catholic faith.

Brenda leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Mike Hess of Viola, Arkansas; son, Calvin Kelly (Mary Alice) of Tucson, Arizona; grandchild, Keegan Kelly of Tucson, Arizona; mother, Mildred Heath of Golden Valley, Arizona; brother, Virgil Heath, Jr. (Tina Thomassetti) of California; many other relatives and friends.  Brenda is preceded in death by her father, son (Marcus Kelly) and sister (Debbie Heath).

There will be no services at this time.  Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
