Brenda Kay Smith

Brenda Kay Smith, 72, of Camp, Arkansas, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at her home in Camp. She was born on July 3, 1953, in Salem, Arkansas, to Austin Lee Bridges and Della (Javaux) Bridges.

Brenda was united in marriage to Keevin Wynn Smith on July 11,1981 in Camp, Arkansas. She spent her working years as a secretary for McCullough Satellite, where she was known for her reliability, dedication, and warm personality. Brenda loved life on the farm, enjoyed walking, and took great joy in caring for her chickens. Above all, she cherished her family and adored her dog, Dandy. She was a member of the Salem Pentecostal Church in Salem, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband, Keevin Smith of Camp, Arkansas; her son, Michael Beard (Kimber) of Melbourne, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Abbigael Beard of Melbourne, Arkansas; her brother, Rodney Bridges of Salem, Arkansas; and her sister, Patricia Gail Bridges of Salem, Arkansas. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Wyatt Smith; her parents, Austin and Della Bridges; and her sister, Judy Fowler.

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 12, 2025 at Stateline Cemetery in Moko, Arkansas with Bro. Winford Franks officiating. Pallbearers are Steven Fowler and John Fowler. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
