Carlos "Jim" Jimmy Comstock ObituaryCarlos "Jim" Jimmy Comstock, 65, of West Plains, Missouri, passed away on October 2, 2026, in West Plains, Missouri.

Jim was born on August 26, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Carlos Willard Comstock and Wilma Joan Sanders Comstock. He spent more than 40 years working as a truck driver, a profession he took great pride in throughout his life.

Jim enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He was known for his outgoing personality and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, Jim cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his significant other, Crystal Conyers; four sons, Jeremiah Comstock (Grace), Joshua Comstock, Justin Comstock (Trista Decker), and Julian Comstock (Jennica); his mother, Wilma Comstock; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Carlos Willard Comstock, and his sister, Jean.

Memorial visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday October 12, 2026 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the American Diabetes Association.

Jim's kindness, hard work, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
