Charlie King LaFevers, II, son of Charlie King LaFevers and Della Ann (Babcock) LaFevers, was born September 15, 1982 in Salem, Arkansas. On Friday, April 30, 2021, he departed this life in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas.
Charlie was a 2000 graduate of Salem High School. Charlie worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department for seventeen years on the Heavy Bridge Crew, at the Salem Yard, and as a Striper Driver. He was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church in Salem, Arkansas. Charlie was a kind, amazing, loving, funny, witty man who loved his family deeply. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, scuba diving, guns, and coin collecting. He was always there for anyone who needed help with anything, and he would always give the best straightforward advice. He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, uncle, and friend.
Charlie leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Rebecca (Gaines) LaFevers of Salem, Arkansas; four daughters, Riley Ann LaFevers of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Hattie Mae LaFevers of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Maylee Jo Corsaut of Salem, Arkansas, and Katie Gaines of Salem, Arkansas; parents, C.K. and Della LaFevers of Salem, Arkansas; two sisters, Jennifer Trammell and husband Scott of Springdale, Arkansas and Charlotte LaFevers of Salem, Arkansas; nephew, Gatlin Branscum of Salem, Arkansas; niece, Megan Kempker of Eugene, Missouri; three beloved boxers, Oz, Annie, and Maggie; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Dustin Hall, Josh Nelson, Justin Tyler, Seth Martin, Colt Emery, Justin Luther, Damian Vaughn, Justin Gleghorn, and Justin Branscum. Honorary pallbearers are Robert "Tank" Tankersley, Amber Gibson, Rusty Hurtt, Jacob Smith, Heath Gaines, Roy Cunningham, Jake Smith, Zach Branscum, Donnie Dawson, Tate Zeigler, and Derek Hall. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
