Connie Jo Winters

Connie Jo Winters, 75, of Glencoe, Arkansas departed this life in Memphis, Tennessee on Tuesday, January 30, 2018. She was born to the late John and Dresella Mays on December 17, 1942 in Smith Center, Kansas.

Connie married Richard Lee Winters on March 14, 1964 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and to this union four children were born. She was co owner and secretary of Winters Electric. Connie was an artist,loved to sew, play the piano and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Richard Winters of Glencoe, Arkansas; son, Richard Shawn Winters and wife Tonya of Elsinore, Missouri; two daughters, Taunya Lee Winters of Glencoe, Arkansas and Stacey Lynn Nolan and husband Mike of Eagle River, Alaska; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister, Roxie Peterson and husband Ken of Fountain, Colorado; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in passing by her daughter (Debra Jo Winters), parents (John and Dresella Mays) and two brothers (David Mays and Johnie Mays).

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. February 6, 2018 at Blunt Mortuary in Colorado Springs, Colorado with Pastor Richard Diffenderfer officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Blunt Mortuary in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pallbearers are Drew Winters, Shawn Winters, Dakota Smith, Kyle Winters, Morgan Smith and Nathan Smith. Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
