Daisy Nardima Howard

Daisy Nardima Howard, age 85, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on May 23, 1941, in Wiseman, Arkansas, to Eulis Clarence Hall and Velma (Lane) Hall.

 On April 9, 1960, Daisy married the love of her life, G.W. "Cotton" Howard, in St. Louis, Missouri. Together, Daisy and Cotton built a life centered around love and family and were blessed with three children. The life they shared and the family they created remained among Daisy's greatest blessings.

 Throughout her working years, Daisy served as a secretary for various businesses. She concluded her career at the Salem Church of Christ, where she was also a faithful member. Her church and her faith were important parts of her life, and she treasured the friendships and fellowship she found there. 

Daisy's greatest joy was her family. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and the many memories created through the years with those she loved will remain a treasured part of her legacy. Her family will remember the love she gave so freely and the special place each of them held in her heart. 

Daisy is survived by two sons, Michael Howard (Cindy) of McDade, Texas, and Lyndell Howard of Sherwood, Arkansas; one daughter, Deborah Griffin of Sherwood, Arkansas; one brother, Ronnie Hall (Jo) of Rogers, Arkansas; one sister, Bonnie Montgomery of Cabot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Jennifer Sullivan, Sassha Howard, Tristan Howard, Shae Hawkins (Dalton), Paige Howard, and Jarene Villarreal; ten great-grandchildren, Mason Earnest, Ryder Rembold, Valerie Navarro, Coen Hawkins, Kolbi Hawkins, Elijah Howard, Tristan Howard, David Penson, Janel Penson, and Dail'on Penson; along with many other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, G.W. "Cotton" Howard; her parents, Eulis Clarence and Velma Hall; one sister, Lois Knight; one brother, Floyd Hall; and her son-in-law, Roger Keith Griffin. 

Daisy leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith, family, and love. Her memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives were touched by her throughout her 85 years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas, with funeral services immediately following at 12:00 P.M. 

Memorials are preferred to the Arkansas Hospice Foundation. Donations may be made online at lifetouchhealth.org or by check payable to Arkansas Hospice Foundation and mailed to 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.
