Daniel Wayne Bond

Danny Bond, age 69, born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025, in Thayer, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family.

Danny lived a joyful and full life. He had a deep love for the outdoors and spent many happy hours hunting, fishing, and working on race cars with his brother. He was also an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed watching wrestling on TV. Danny had a quick wit and a warm smile, and his presence brought laughter and light to those who knew him.

He would not want his family or friends to mourn, but instead to celebrate his life and take comfort in knowing that he is now rejoicing in Heaven with many loved ones who went before him.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, William and Floie Mae (Payne) Bond; his siblings, Joseph Bond, Christine Marler, and Carole Bohlen; and his brothers-in-law, David Decker and Dee Marler.

He is survived by his brother, Billy (Joyce) Bond of Springdale, Arkansas; his sister, Mary Ann (Bond) Decker of Farmington, Arkansas; his sons, William (Daniel) Decker (Leah) of Harrison, Arkansas, Timothy Decker of Harrison, Arkansas, and John (Stacy) Bond of Thayer, Missouri; his daughter, Mary (Steven) Snapp of Mt view, Oklahoma; and his cherished grandchildren, Colton Poor, Rebekah Poor, Devan Decker, Remington Bond, Harvey Bond, Austin Maynard, Miguel Vazquez, and Mario Vazquez. Danny was also blessed with a great-grandson, Grady Maynard, who brought him much joy.

Danny’s life was one of love, family, and simple pleasures. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at 1 pm on September 20, 2025, at Silent Grove Cemetary in Springdale, AR, and the family welcomes all who knew him to join in honoring his memory.
