Debra Ann Young

Debra Ann Young, 47, of Salem, Arkansas, was born October 10, 1969, daughter of Billy Dale and Patsy Ann (Henry) Powell in Kansas City, Kansas. She departed this life on May 14, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas.   Debra was married to Ray William Young on July 15, 1985 in Alton, Missouri. She was a homemaker, loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, friend and was of the Baptist faith.   Debra is survived by her husband, Ray Young of Salem, Arkansas; two daughters, Brianna Alise Young of Russellville, Arkansas and Channing Marie Young of Salem, Arkansas; one son, Dalton William Young of Salem, Arkansas; mother, Patsy Powell of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; one sister, Kelly Brashear of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; one brother, Michael Brashear of Oxford, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, grandparents, two brothers (Errick and Derrick Brashear), three aunts, two uncles and three cousins.   Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, May 19, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Jim Cox officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation of Arkansas INC. at 220 Mockingbird, Hot Springs, Arkansas 71913.
