Dixie Lou Grover

Dixie Lou Grover, age 87, of Ash Flat, Arkansas was born on October 15, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Paul and Grace (Whitson) Byrne. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Ash Flat, Arkansas.   Dixie was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church. Dixie always had the prettiest smile for everyone. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.   Dixie is survived by her daughter, Paula Rupert of Salem, Arkansas; sister, Norma Jean Beadle of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Mindy, Edward, Paula, Jesse and Ann; four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband June 9, 1996 (Edward William Grover), daughter (Dixie), parents and brother (Francis).   A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
