Donald Richard Hamann

Donald Richard Hamann, 78, of Elizabeth, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Donald was born October 21, 1943, to Frank Arthur Hamann and Lorena (Longhenry) Hamann in Graceville, Minnesota.

Donald married Mary Katheryn Loy on October 21, 1961, in Revillo, South Dakota.  Donald worked as a diesel mechanic for many years, loved life and his family, and was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Donald was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Donald leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Mary Hamann of Elizabeth, Arkansas; daughter, Kathryn Goldman and husband Thomas of Waukesha, Wisconsin; three sons, Robert Hamann and wife Kimberly of Luck, Wisconsin, Scott Hamann and wife Tracy of Welch, Minnesota, and Richard Hamann and wife Heather of Cannon Falls, Minnesota; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Donna Longendyke and husband Earl of Butler, Tennessee; two brothers, Ronald Hamann of Isabella, Missouri and Dale Hamann of St. Paul, Minnesota; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister (Geraldine Swan), brother-in-law (Ronald Swan), and sister-in-law (Genevieve Hamann).

The family will have a private Celebration of Life later.  Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.    Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
