Donna Rae Brown

Donna Rae (Harber) Brown, 70, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Donna was born September 25, 1950 to Lloyd “Pete” Harber and Lois (Wray) Harber in West Plains, Missouri.

Donna was united in marriage to Dennis Lynn Brown on January 23, 1970 in Viola, Arkansas and to this union four children were born.  Donna worked 9 years as the Fulton County Health Nurse, served as Director of Nurses at the Fulton County Nursing Home, and worked over 25 years total as a RN in healthcare.  Donna loved to cook for everybody and enjoyed time spent with her family.  Donna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and was of the Baptist faith.

Donna leaves to mourn her passing, husband, Dennis Brown of Viola, Arkansas; son, Darick Brown and wife Leesa of Viola, Arkansas; three daughters, Darla Johnston and husband Doug of Viola, Arkansas, Denise Clifton-Jones of Viola, Arkansas, and Dawn Brown of Viola, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Dedra Richardson, Dolan Johnston, Devin Brown, Lakynn Bradshaw, Dalton Brown, Jenkins Clifton, Dacee Jones, and Alix Moran; five great grandchildren; father, “Pete” Lloyd Harber of Viola, Arkansas; brother, Dennis Harber and wife Kay of Viola, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother and son-in-law (Joe Clifton).

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the Viola First Baptist Church in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Cartwright and Bro. Craig Golden officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until time of service on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Interment will be in the Mt. Calm Cemetery in Viola, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Dolan Johnston, Alix Moran, Devin Brown, Tyler Richardson, Dalton Brown, Adam Bradshaw, and Jenkins Clifton. Honorary pallbearers Cathy Brown, Nancy Daily, Neesha Barker, and Tracye Long. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Calm Cemetery Association.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
