Douglas F. Davis, age 80, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on September 16, 1945, in Lake City, Arkansas, to Everett Cleo and Dolly Jewell “Mohe” (Timms) Davis.

On December 3, 1963, Douglas married the love of his life, Judy Laverne Turner, in Caraway, Arkansas. Together they shared nearly 62 years of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their marriage was a true example of faithfulness and partnership, and their home was always filled with love, laughter, and the joy of family.

Douglas spent his working years as a brick mason in construction, building not only with his hands but also with his heart. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and the pride he took in a job well done. A man of the Pentecostal faith, Douglas lived his life guided by his love for God and his deep care for others.

He was the kind of man who never met a stranger. His warmth, humor, and easy smile made everyone feel welcome. Douglas loved a good clean joke, loved life, and loved people—especially his family, who meant everything to him. He was a fierce protector, a loyal provider, and the heart of his home.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Judy Davis of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sons, Douglas D. Davis (Loretta) of Camp, Arkansas, and Sean K. Davis of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and one daughter, Amy Davis of Jonesboro, Arkansas. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren—Jennifer Stanford, Josh Davis (Teresa), Brittany Davis, Jordan Lawrence (Mike), Meagan Zavala (Joe), Morgan Eagan (Tommy), and Gabbie Roddy—along with nine great-grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

He is also survived by his brother, Cleo Davis (Betty Sue) of Rockford, Illinois; and three sisters, Patsy Riley (Donald) of Lake City, Arkansas, Rosetta McCann (Jack) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Theresa Pace (Terry) of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Shelby Davis and Terry Lynn Davis; and three sisters, Annie Wisham, Virginia Lingenfelter, and Ruby Lee Davis.
