Earl GC Huett

Earl GC Huett, 85, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life Monday, December 13, 2021, at Viola, Arkansas. Earl was born September 30, 1936, to Horace Virgil Huett and Helen Geneva Venice (Talburt) Huett in Cumi, Arkansas.

Earl was united in marriage to Reba Nell Cotter at Viola, Arkansas on November 4, 1960, and to this union two children were born. Earl worked for many years as a bricklayer. He loved his family and loved people and was a member of the Viola Church of Christ. He enjoyed hot rod cars, fishing, camping, skiing, water sports, and traveling. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

Earl leaves to mourn his passing, wife, Reba Huett of Viola, Arkansas; son, Patrick Huett and wife Stacy of Springfield, Missouri; daughter, Tambra Brown and husband David of West Plains, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Jacob Brown (Stephanie), Jessica Brown, Joe Brown (Shannon), Kindal Plank (Michael), Taner Huett, Hunter Huett (Sabrina), and Cooper Huett; ten great grandchildren; brother, Royce Huett (Kay) of West Plains, Missouri; two sisters, Teresa Wray (Elwin) of Viola, Arkansas and Debbie Kinder (Dennis) of Viola, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister-in-law (Renee Huett), and niece (Brook Smith).

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas with Bro. Royce Huett and Bro. Alan Talburt officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the Viola Church of Christ in Viola, Arkansas. Interment will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Jacob Brown, Hunter Huett, Joe Brown, Cooper Huett, Taner Huett, and Michael Plank. Memorials may be made to the Fairhaven Children’s Home in Strafford, Missouri or the Paragould Children’s Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
