Edna Margaret Kunst

Edna Margaret Kunst, 86, of Viola, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, in Salem, Arkansas. Edna was born November 2, 1936, to Lucius Guyer and Julia (Royal) Guyer in Memphis, Tennessee.

Edna was united in marriage to Lester Nicholas Kunst, Jr. on June 18, 1958, in Hernando, Mississippi. Edna worked as a Nurse’s Aide with White River Area Agency on Aging, Inc. and Ozarks Medical Center.  Edna enjoyed crafting and loved spending time with her family and friends.  Edna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Edna leaves to mourn her passing; husband, Lester Kunst, Jr. of Viola, Arkansas; son, Lester Kunst III (Debra) of Middleton, Tennessee; two daughters, Leslie Spivey (John) of Coldwater, Mississippi and Deborah Dyess (Paul) of Ricon, Georgia; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Guyer of Slayden, Mississippi; sister, Gayle Spivey of Byhalia, Mississippi; many other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her daughter (Joyce Kunst) and parents.

There will be a visitation 10 AM – 4 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.  Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home, LLC in Salem, Arkansas.
