Evelyn Virginia Trivitt

Evelyn Virginia (Hodges) Trivitt, 95, of Albany, Orgeon and formerly of Elizabeth, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 in Albany, Oregon. Evelyn was born to the late Robert Hodges and Gertrude (Roberts) Hodges on January 14, 1924 in Elizabeth, Arkansas.

Evelyn was united into marriage to Enos J. Trivitt on October 10, 1941 at Blytheville, Arkansas and to this union two children were born. Evelyn was a homemaker and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Arkansas. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and friend.

Evelyn leaves to mourn her passing; son, Larry Trivitt of Sun City West, Arizona; daughter, Barbara Inselman and husband Bruce of Albany, Oregon; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; three sisters, Lena Barker, Nelda Hurd and Roberta Cable; three brothers, Bill Hodges, Leon Hodges and Wally Hodges; many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers (James, Bob and Allen) and granddaughter (Carrie).

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. Danny McGee officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Barker Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Elizabeth Cemetery in Elizabeth, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Allan Barker, Chuck Hodges, Doug Hodges, Greg Hodges, Rick Hodges and Mark Hurd. Honorary pallbearers are John Inselman, Scott Trivitt and Stephen Hodges. Memorials may be made to the BMAA Missions Department in Little Rock, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
