Gaines Irving Arnold

Gaines Irving Arnold, 54, of Salem, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, October 23, 2020 in Joplin, Missouri.  Gaines was born March 21, 1966 to Terry Neil Arnold and Patricia Jean (Mullin) Arnold in Neosho, Missouri.

Gaines was employed as a counselor for Families Inc. covering the school districts of Calico Rock and Melbourne. Gaines served his country in the United States Air Force Reserves for two years and the United States Navy for nine years during Desert Storm. He was a member of the Salem First Baptist Church, a devoted Christian, and a Sunday school teacher. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Gaines is survived by his mother, Patricia Arnold of Salem, Arkansas; three brothers, H. Wayne Arnold of Cabot, Arkansas, K. Mark Arnold of Neosho, Missouri, and Patrick O. Arnold of East Lynn, Missouri; many other relatives and friends.  Gaines is preceded in death by his father (Terry Arnold).

Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Salem Cemetery in Salem, Arkansas with Bro. John Hodges officiating. Memorials may be left at Salem First Baptist Church for the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
