Gayla Janette Nichols

Gayla Janette Nichols, age 61, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas was born on August 7, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She departed this life on December 2, 2017 in Salem, Arkansas.                             Gayla was a loving mother, sister, daughter, cousin, friend and loved animals. She leaves to mourn her passing; daughter, Angela Riford and husband Tom of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; two brothers, Michael Powers of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Jack Powers of Port Orchard, Washignton; sister, Karol King and husband Bo of Oxford, Arkansas; best friend and brother in law, Trey Bull of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother (Helen Bernice White) and sister ( Becky Bull).   Memorial Service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas with Tom Riford officiating. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior or Veteran’s charity of choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home of Salem, Arkansas.
